Multi-toned parti sapphires are a personal favourite, along with brightly coloured tourmalines, zircons, quartzes and spinels, among other wild, wonderful and quirky stones.

Gems are sourced from trusted gem merchants in Sydney, Australia and around the world.

We’ll pack up and send your gift, along with instructions on how they can claim their custom design experience with Fairina.

All that’s left for you to do is wait for an excited call crowning you the best gifter ever!

Gemstones will be sent out within 1 – 3 days of receiving your order. From there, standard shipping timeframes will apply, depending on whether you have chosen complimentary standard shipping, upgraded express shipping and whether your recipient is in Australia or overseas.

Gemstones are one-of-a-kind and first come, first served. If your gemstone is no longer available, we’ll do our best to source something just as beautiful for you. But because our gems are chosen for their incredibly individual characteristics, the replacement is unlikely to be the same as the original gem you fell in love with.

So you don’t miss out, purchase your gem as soon as possible. If you don’t want it shipped straight away, leave a comment in the Notes section at checkout or get in touch to arrange a scheduled shipping option.

We’ll hold your gem until a mutally agreed time before sending it out (but can’t guarantee an exact delivery date unless a secure courier is used).

Custom pieces in gold and platinum start at approximately $3,500, including gemstones.

If you’d like an estimate on a potential design, get in touch before purchasing. Estimates are a rough guide, and may change depending on several factors, including but not limited to:

• The final design of the piece of jewellery
• The materials used, including any additional gemstones
• Metal, material and labour prices at the time of ordering

Use the dropdown menu in each gemstone listing to match the design credit according to your gift budget. The credit you choose may not cover the full price of the piece your gift recipient designs, but it’ll give them a great head start.

When you’ve selected a gemstone, you’ll get the opportunity to choose your design credit from the dropdown menu on the product listing. Design credits start at $500 and are upgradeable to suit your gift budget.

Credits are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase, for use towards a piece of jewellery made with the gemstone purchased.

If you choose a credit above the minimum value of $500, any remaining amount, after the credit has been applied to a piece of jewellery made with the purchased gemstone, will be re-issued as a credit to your gift recipient.

The re-issued credit is valid for any custom or ready-to-order piece in the shop. A re-issued credit has the same expiry date as the original design credit, which is 3 years from the date of purchase of the gemstone.

Happy customers are why we’re in business. If you purchase a gemstone and it doesn’t look like you expected or just doesn’t feel right, contact us within 7 days of receiving it to organise a refund.

Gemstones and design credits are covered by the Happiness Guarantee, with a few caveats:

• The gem case must not be opened
• The gemstone, jewellery box, gem case, gift box, gift packaging and any other inclusions in the product listing must be safely returned in the same condition they were sent in

Clear instructions will be provided to your gift recipient with their package.

Refunds are issued to the purchaser of the gemstone. To cover payment processing fees and shipping, a 5% restocking fee of the gemstone and credit amount will apply to returned orders paid via Stripe or PayPal. A 10% restocking fee will apply to returned orders paid via Afterpay.
