The Story of Thales & Ingrid
Thales always sought the road less travelled in a world of tradition and classics. Ingrid, on the other hand, admired the ageless beauty of time-honoured customs. When their worlds collided, a unique love story emerged.
Upon moving to Australia from Brazil, Ingrid knew a proposal was approaching. Thales had always been one to do things a bit differently, so she was worried her ring might be too avant-garde. But Thales had a surprise up his sleeve.
Thales and Fairina collaborated in hush-hush meetings, crafting a ring that would compliment Ingrid’s love for the classics but with a dash of his own spirit. Inspired by Ingrid’s adoration for the colour blue and their shared home in Australia, an ocean-hued Australian sapphire was chosen. Its deep, mesmerising shade echoed their mutual love for their adopted homeland.
The rings again took centre stage as the couple started planning for their wedding. Ingrid’s wedding band featured a blend of blue Ceylon sapphires, minty green Australian sapphires and glistening white diamonds – classic with a pop of colour.
Thales opted for an unplated white gold ring with a hand-filed, rustic finish. Both rings had engravings of each other’s names, a testament to their inseparable bond.
They were married under the Jabuticaba trees. It was the perfect spot because Thales had given Ingrid a Jabuticaba bonsai to represent their love eight years ago.
“It could not be more perfect”, Ingrid said.

The Ocean-Inspired Proposal of Chelsea and Wren
On a beautiful, sunny fall day, Chelsea, brimming with nerves and excitement, led Wren on a walk to a place deeply meaningful to them – the Medicine Bowls. This picturesque riverside spot, first shown to Chelsea by Wren during the early days of their relationship marked the beginning of their love story.
It was in this idyllic, symbolic and serene setting, by the gentle flow of the river and surrounded by the beauty of nature, that Chelsea decided to propose.
As they stood on a ledge overlooking the water, Chelsea, with a pounding heart, got down on one knee. The overwhelming moment left Wren teary-eyed and momentarily speechless with a “YES!” to seal the moment.
The engagement ring Chelsea designed for Wren had a teal trilliant-shaped Australian sapphire in the centre, symbolising the couple’s love for the ocean.
The ring’s design is intensely symbolic and distinctive. The top half of the band represents the sky. The bottom half undulates like waves. Inside the band are hidden engravings: Neptune’s trident, inspired by a tattoo on Chelsea’s finger, an anchor and a compass rose set with a striking black spinel.

The Story of Mitch and Romina
Love stories can be told in so many ways. They can be inside jokes, hidden secrets or grand gestures. This story contains all three.
When Mitch and Romina first started dating, he told her unlimited hugs would cost one cent.
So, as his first gift, she bought him a bag of one-cent coins. And when Mitch decided the time had arrived to propose to Romina, he knew that the pennies had to play a part.
After his first jewellery consult, he selected a hexagon salt and pepper diamond as the feature stone in Romina’s ring. The diamond was predominantly opaque, with just a hint of transparency.
Mitch also brought a penny from the original collection Romina had gifted him. We created a special rose gold coin and embedded it in the platinum setting under the salt and pepper diamond.
It’s invisible most of the time, but from some angles, you can see a soft, rosy hue glowing from the depths of the stone. For the proposal, Mitch took Romina back to where their romance first began: the scenic Blue Mountains. As the fresh mountain air enveloped them, Mitch, filled with anticipation, popped the question at Narrow Neck Lookout.
